Sandra Bernal A. is a cultural manager, brand developer, and communications professional with extensive experience in public diplomacy. She holds a Master’s degree in Arts and Culture Management and currently lives in Chicago, where she owns Saba - Cultural Networking.
She is the Programming Director of the Chicago Latino Film Festival. She works as an external consultant for cultural institutions and non-profit organizations, contributing her expertise in program development, strategy, and brand positioning.
In addition, she is a member of the Bogotá Committee of Chicago Sister Cities and a proud member of the Jeff Awards.
Sandra has worked for the governments of the United Kingdom and Sweden in their respective embassies in Colombia, specializing in cultural exchange and the strengthening of international relations. She has participated in the organization of major high-profile events, including the visit of Pope Francis to Colombia (2017), the visit of the Prince of Wales to Colombia (2014), and the 32nd Bogotá International Book Fair, with Sweden as Guest of Honor (2021).
