received his A.B. in Philosophy, with a concentration in Gender and Sexuality, from Bryn Mawr College. A lifelong theatre lover, he also performed with a traditional Korean dance and drumming group throughout his childhood and high school years, along with being deeply involved in theatre at his high school. Ryan travels to NewYork to see theatre on a regular basis, and he delights in all that Chicago theatre has to offer: in the years directly preceding his acceptance to the Jeff Committee, Ryan attended close to 400 showseach year. He greatly appreciates this opportunity to join the other members of the Jeff Committee in recognizing excellence in Chicago theatre.
