holds a BA in Speech and Drama Education from Oliver Nazarene and a Masters in Speech and Theatre Arts from Bradley University. She is a retired high school educator, teacher and administrator. She directed high school plays and musicals and was a coach for Individual Events serving on the SCOTIE Commission. Alexis is an avid theatre attendee not only in Chicago but also around the country and for several years in Canada and England. She continues to promote theater in schools and in underserved communities. She also continues to take higher education classes in Literature and Theater.
